Free Form Design (2008)

The experimental 72-hours-workshop, organised by the architecture faculties of Montpellier and Delft, has been focused on the design and the following realization of a "free form", a complex geometry structure. The theme of the structure modeling has been first faced spatially, beginning from simple sketches, scale models and 3D models, then a final design has been defined, and finally a 1:1 scale prototype (dimensions 5x2x2 m circa) has been realized using wood, foam panels and cardboard.
